Who We Are

We are a remote psychotherapy practice offering online therapy to adults, teens, and couples across New York State. All sessions are conducted virtually, making care accessible wherever you are—without commuting or geographic limitations. You don’t need a formal diagnosis or a clearly defined issue to begin therapy; many people come to us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure why certain emotions or patterns keep repeating.

Therapy here is a space to slow down, gain clarity, and work toward meaningful change at your own pace. We also aim to make care accessible by accepting Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Carelon Behavioral Health insurance plans for remote therapy in New York, and we’re happy to help you understand your coverage before getting started.

Our Approach

Our approach is deeply rooted in creating a corrective experience for you—one that helps you understand not just what you’re struggling with, but why. We take the time to explore the underlying emotional, relational, and behavioral patterns contributing to your concerns, and help develop and achieve your treatment goals by providing a wide range of evidence-based psychotherapy modalities.

These include Psychodynamic/Relational Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and other clinically supported modalities.

This integrative approach allows therapy to adapt to you—not the other way around. You can explore more detailed information about specific concerns and areas of focus in our Specializations section.

Is This Therapy Right for You?

You might be coming to therapy because something feels off, even if you can’t fully explain it. Maybe you feel constantly on edge, emotionally drained, or overwhelmed by your own thoughts. Maybe you keep reacting in ways you don’t understand, feel stuck in the same relationship patterns, or wonder why certain situations affect you more than they “should.”

Some people reach out because they feel disconnected from themselves or others. Others are struggling with intense emotions, mood shifts, intrusive thoughts, or a sense of numbness. You may be dealing with ongoing stress, unresolved experiences from the past, grief, or a persistent feeling of dissatisfaction despite doing “everything right.”

Therapy can also help if you find yourself asking questions like why am I so angry all the time, why do I feel overstimulated, why do I keep repeating the same patterns in relationships, or why can’t I move on from certain experiences or people. You don’t need to have a clear diagnosis or a single, defining issue—many challenges are layered, complex, and deeply personal.

If you’re looking for a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you, therapy here may be a good fit.

Our Process

Gain Insight

We start by helping you understand how emotional distress, anxiety, relationship patterns, or life experiences brought you to where you are now. Gaining clarity around your story creates the foundation for meaningful change.

Identify Patterns

Together, we identify recurring thoughts, behaviors, beliefs, and relationship dynamics that may be keeping you stuck, often outside of conscious awareness.

Change: Thoughts and Behavior

We work on shifting unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors so they better align with your values, goals, and emotional needs, reducing anxiety, mood symptoms, and relationship conflict.

Sustain Change

How can we sustain this change in a way that feels doable and suits your lifestyle so that you only see your therapist because you want to - not because you need to.
